This sign up page is for two different events.
Event 1) Hinkledux Pub Lunch Club - We meet at 12.30 on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, alternating - Even no. months @ the Red Lion, Hinxton, Odd no. months @ the Lion, Ickleton. Around eight of us enjoy a pub lunch and each other's company. It's simple, totally informal and with no strings. We each pay for our own order, plus a tip if you want to. By the Sunday before our lunch, please let cjjonsmith@hotmail.co.uk (07814 116 590) know whether you're coming and what your pre-order is. Most people have one course.
Event 2) Come along and sing even if you can't - group karaoke - We normally meet for one hour on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm in St. Peter's church, Duxford. It's free and very simple. We all sing together in a group karaoke sing-a-long as the song's words come up on the big screen and the music is played. We have a break in the middle of the session for coffee/tea and cake/biscuits. During the break if people want to suggest songs for future sessions they do so on a sheet near the entrance. We'll try and include them, or get a close match. So what types of songs do we sing together? Pop songs from most decades. Abba, the Beatles. Big songs from musicals and movies.
